Lisa Austin is an Associate at Verité Healthcare Consulting. At Verité, she is responsible for data collection, qualitative and quantitative analyses, and report development.
At Verité, she has been involved in conducting community health needs assessments for several multi-hospital systems, reviewing the proposed sale of a community hospital, and developing a community benefit strategic plan. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as the Administrative Director for a provider of community-based mental health services to at-risk children in the D.C. metro area. Ms. Austin also has worked as a Research Assistant for a Purdue University/Ascension Health study that examined how staff behaviors affect patient satisfaction in the emergency department.
In addition to her work experience, Ms. Austin has a Master of Science in Health Administration (MSHA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Davidson College.
