Carrie Hollis

Associate

Carrie Hollis is an Associate at Verité Healthcare Consulting. Much of her work focuses on improving health outcomes and access to care for low-income, uninsured, and minority population groups across the entire spectrum of care.
 
Mrs. Hollis conducts community health needs assessments and develops implementation strategies for hospital systems across the nation. She has advised large health systems on community health indicators and she regularly collects, analyzes, and synthesizes primary and secondary data to assess the factors that impact the wellbeing of individuals and communities. She is actively involved in monitoring and assessing changes to health policy and practice as a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. She created various tools and templates to help tax-exempt hospitals assure compliance with new federal regulations and provides reviews of hospital policies and assessments. In addition, Mrs. Hollis has participated in litigation support activities in New Hampshire and Georgia, a strategic plan update for a California health care district, and analyses of community benefit fiscal reporting.
 
Earlier in her career she was involved in community development, racial reconciliation projects, and program development for urban youth at a Richmond, Virginia nonprofit organization. Mrs. Hollis earned her BA in Anthropology from the College of William and Mary.
